Highland Paradise, also known by the locals as ‘the lost village’ is locally owned and operated by the descendants of those who once lived there. They look forward to welcoming you, and taking you on a journey back in time to experience what the life of their ancestors was like 600 years ago.

Your warrior will first take you into the theatre and small museum, and there you will enjoy a short historical video on how Highland Paradise came to be before your stroll through the ancient, and sacred village begins.

There are many ancient monuments, and places of interest that was once utilized by their ancestors, and your warrior will share with you the history sur-rounding each of them. Ancient legends will be told, the cultural practices will be explained. Hear of the battles that were fought against other tribes and cannibalism, see what the village living conditions once appeared like. Learn of the plants once used for medicinal purposes, and many other fascinating historical facts about this ancient and sacred village.
You will also learn the art of weaving, dancing, and the preparation of the umu (underground oven).
