Overwater Night show & Dinner

At Te Vara Nui Village you will meet local Cook Island Maori people who will share their stories, knowledge and heritage with you during the Cultural Village Tour.

Described by many as “world class”, Rarotonga’s finest dancers and musicians perform to ‘The Legend of Tongaiti’ by flaming torchlight on floating and fixed stages of our waterfall garden. They are proud Winners of Air New Zealand Supreme Tourism Industry Award & Tourism Attractions Award 2016 / 2017.

This stunning Over Water Night Show reflects the experience of their Village delivering, after a western and local buffet dinner, an electric and authentic cultural performance like no other on the island! This compelling story is of a voyaging warrior named Tongaiti who, with his family, goes in search of new land to call home.A story of pride, love and celebration.

Te Vara Nui Village has something for everyone; inspiring fun, authentic entertainment, activity and wonder. It is your Cook Islands Number One experience and not to be missed!

The Te Vara Nui Village cultural experience will capture your soul and heart, leaving you awed from its dazzling backdrop and dramatic performance.

The tour operates Tuesday, Thursday & Saturdays from 5pm or 7pm until 9.30pm

and it's 2hrs or 4.5 hrs long

  • Cultural Village Tour - Complimentary drink on arrival and Cultural Village Tour (**Optional Addition). Please note that return transfers are excluded but can be added for an extra charge.

  • Combo Extravaganza Pass - Complimentary Return Transfers, One glass of Bubbles or Non-alcoholic beverage on arrival, Full Pre-dinner Cultural Village Tour (from 5.00pm), Island/Western Fusion Buffet Dinner (from 7.30pm), Over-Water Night Show (from 8.30pm)

GENERAL INFO:

 

  • Please note that drinks are excluded from the Buffet Dinner. They have a fully licensed bar in house.

  • You will share the table with other people because that's part of the experience.

  • Child Policy: Infants 0-5 Years must be accompanied by an adult - FOC

CANCELLATION POLICY:

​

  • Cancellations outside of 24 hours - No fee

  • Cancellations within 13 - 24 hours prior - 25% cancellation fee

  • Cancellations within 2 hours or less - 50% cancellation fee

  • No shows - 100% cancellation fee
